CUSTOM KNIFE WORKSHOP
CUSTOM KNIFEMAKING EXPERIENCE
A 1 DAY WORKSHOP, IN WHICH THE PARTICIPANTS WILL ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE OF DESIGNING AND MANUFACTURING THEIR OWN CUSTOM KNIFE.
A personalised experience working with Knifemaker of 20 years experience, John McDonald, in his workshop nestled in the Rangitikei village of Hunterville, just off State Highway 1
Your day will include:
Designing (drawing out) of your blade,
Grinding the blade fitting the guard,
Shaping and fitting the handles,
Sewing together the leather pouch.
You can customize the blade, ie your name on the blade, and the pouch can be dyed various colours.
Learn how to sharpen a knife and how to keep it sharp.
Learn how to care for your blade.
Lunch is included in the price.
Prices range from $150 per person for the whole day.
